Due to the expected snow, Tuesday, 2/11/25, and probably Wednesday, 2/12/25, the Writing Center will operate online. Feel free to make Live Online or Written Online appointments. Thank you!

Welcome to the Spring 2025 Undergraduate University Writing Center! We offer 3 kinds of tutoring this semester:
1. Face-to-Face appointments in the Writing Center (Wilson 1106); these are best for brainstorming and organizing;
2. Live Online appointments: these are best for brainstorming and organizing;
3. Written Online appointments: these are best for draft review. Please attach a Word file (no Google docs or pdfs) to your appointment, or your tutor will have nothing to which to respond.

Selecting the best tutor for your needs is important; some specialize in writing in their disciplines. However, all are trained in assisting with ENGL 101 and 102 assignments.
We currently have 7 tutors, and we might add another one or two: Zach, Finance major and Senior Tutor; Nola, Pre-Med Major and Senior Tutor; Stella, Art Education major and Senior Tutor; Daneisha, English major; Favour, Rehabilitation Services major; Jamia, Rehabilitation Psychology major; Pearl, English Education major.
ENGL 305 Technical Writing tutors: Zach, Nola, Jamia, Favour.
To benefit you, we now allow until 1 hour before your appointment for you to make, edit (by attaching a Word document), or cancel an appointment.
